Electric Tram Running Days
The Trams will be running EVERY DAY through until the end of January.
THEN it will revert back to running EVERY Weekend and through all School Holidays
Steam Train Sundays
During EVERY Sunday through December, January and February, Steam Trains will be running.
ALSO: Boxing Day, New Years Day, 2nd January, Monday 6 February (Waitangi Day)
From March through until November, Steam Trains will revert to running ONLY on the 1st Sunday of EVERY month.
During these days, there will be UNLIMITED Rides on Trams and Trains ALL DAY.
WAITANGI WEEKEND (Sunday 5 AND Monday 6 February 2012)
The Park will be OPEN for event days on Sunday 5 February AND Monday 6 February 2012 for TWO Event Days. Event Day prices apply, with UNLIMITED Rides on Steam Trains and Trams BOTH DAY.
EASTER EXTRAVAGANZA (Sunday 8 April AND Monday 9 April 2012)
We are holding a TWO DAY Extravaganza at Ferrymead Heritage Park over Sunday and Monday of Easter Weekend. Plan to be part of this great event.
- All the Steam Trains and the Electric Trams will be running on both days.
- Loads of other activities and entertainment - Including Bouncy Castle, Games, Bands, Live Music and Buskers.
- Full range of Food Stalls and Heritage Food - including Devonshire Teas and Coffees.
- Rides, Ponies, Mini Trains and Bicycles.
- Local Craft Stalls to browse and support.
- See any of the 10 Heritage Museums displaying items of 100 years ago.
Contact the Park, if You or your Club or Society wishes to be part of the entertainment on the day.

You should consider buying an Annual Pass, which enables YOU to have admission to the Park as many times as you wish for a FULL Year from purchase!
PLEASE NOTE: Ferrymead Heritage Park is home to over 20 volunteer societies and groups. They are all usually open or operating on Steam Sundays and Event Days, however some attractions and museums do not operate every day.
If you have a special interest in a particular society or museum, please contact us before you visit to check that a volunteer is available on the day.
