Visit the days of chalk and a great deal of teacher talk! Take part in a school lesson of the times.

Toys and Games

Enjoy playground rhymes, toys and games that children hear grandparents talk about.

Arcadia Picture Theatre

Watch the “flicks” the way grandparents did. Find out about “shorts” and “half-time”

Technology in the home

Compare the different technology of our grandparents’ time with that of today. Use some of this technology to make food of the times.
