Night Market - Winter hours - 4pm to 8pm

Saturday September the 1st 

Gold coin entry per person - fundraising for building repairs.

Held on the First Saturday of every month at Ferrymead Heritage Park.
50 Ferrymead Park Drive, Heathcote, Christchurch 8022.
Most of the craft stalls are inside during the winter in the hall on the other side of the railway tracks.
Plenty of food vendors to choose from along the main street.
Bouncy Castle and face painter in Coronation park.
Tram rides and Vulcan railcar rides (small charge applies) and more.

 

Steam Sunday - 10am to 4:30pm

Sunday September the 9th

          

On the second Sunday of each month, Peveril our Steam engine is running.
Don't miss out on our special day when admission includes unlimited Steam train rides and unlimited tram rides. 
The Hall of Flame is open with the largest collection of Fire Engines in Australasia as well as
Curragh House and the Printers. 
Steam Sunday is definately the day to come to Ferrymead Heritage Park each month.

 

Spring Toddler Thursday

A day out especially for Toddlers. 
There will be electric train rides, tram rides,and Face Painting from Plunket all included in your admission price.

Storytime from Christchurch City Libraries will have two story reading sessions and Springfree trampoline will be there for lots of bouncing fun. Ponies2Go will be there with pony rides for $5.

Food options include: food truck, Espresso Coffee, as well as a selection of items including sandwiches from our own cafe.

Running from 10 am to 3 pm. Under 5's are free, Children - $5 and Adults/Caregivers - $10.

PARKING AT GATE A IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO PEOPLE WHO HAVE BOUGHT TICKETS ONLINE..

 Dogs Day Out

September 30th 10:30am-2:30pm

 

Begin with a guided, scenic walk at 10:30am and then explore the park at your leisure with tram rides, displays, free microchipping, and lots of treats for dog lovers of all ages. 
Bring a picnic.
Light refreshments for sale in cafe.

$2 for children (16 Years and under) and Adults $5. 
Pre-schoolers and dogs free!

Dogs must be on a leash at all times.
